Do people on 'Answers' realize that just because someone is claiming to be a Christian...?

I am a Christian, and i'm absolutely heartbroken by all the posts from people claiming to be followers of Christ, then spout lies and anger in His name. A lot of people love to see it, because it just "proves" to them, that Christians are hateful, mean people. Just wondering if there are non-Christians out there that understand the difference between someone who is obviously confused about what Christianity is about... and someone who is sincerely a follower of Christ? Just for my own curiosity... thanks for the answers! God Bless!
