Why forming a Christian fellowship group/prayer group is disallowed in our public university/matriculation?

If you are a Christian, does not your God teach you that He is everywhere, His house is everywhere? Muslims need specific places, specific times, specific rites before they can be heard by their God and the ruling government is kind enough to provide these places. You don't need all those attributes, God is always with you.
